DronOps

Terms of Service

Draft for review. Prepared from what the software actually does. Not reviewed by a lawyer and not legal advice. Items marked [CONFIRM] need a decision or a professional opinion before publication.

The agreement between you and Aero Innovations LLC for use of DronOps.

1. The service

DronOps is software for managing drone operations and the compliance evidence they produce. It is a tool that helps you meet your obligations. It does not assume them.

2. Compliance is yours

DronOps evaluates operations against regulatory rules we maintain, and we work hard to keep those rules accurate and sourced. You remain responsible for the lawfulness of your operations. A result in DronOps is not an authorisation, does not replace an approval from your civil-aviation authority, and does not transfer regulatory responsibility to us.

[CONFIRM] Counsel should review the limitation of liability against this clause specifically — it is the clause that matters most for a compliance product.

3. Your account

You are responsible for who you invite and what they do. Keep credentials secure and tell us promptly about unauthorised access.

4. Your data

Your operational data is yours. We process it to provide the service, under the DPA. You can export it at any time, including while your workspace is read-only.

5. Trials, fees and non-payment

Trials run 30 days. Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe. Fees are exclusive of tax.

If a subscription lapses your workspace becomes read-only. You keep full read and export access to your records; what stops is creating and editing operational data. We do not delete your data for non-payment.

[CONFIRM] Refund terms, notice periods, and how long a read-only workspace is retained before any account closure.

6. Acceptable use

Set out in the Acceptable Use Policy.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability and will tell you about incidents affecting you. No uptime commitment is offered on standard plans.

[CONFIRM] Any enterprise SLA must wait until uptime is measured and a status page has history — a commitment that cannot be evidenced is worse than none.

8. Liability

[CONFIRM] Entire clause to be drafted by counsel.

9. Termination

You may stop at any time. We may suspend for non-payment (read-only, per section 5) or for a serious breach of the Acceptable Use Policy. On termination you may export your data before erasure.

10. Governing law

[CONFIRM] Governing law and forum, given a UAE entity with customers across the GCC and the EU.
